This NBROC is a bi-annual conference endorsed and organized by several community and independent political organizations. The endorsing organizations for the 2025 conference recently held in Indianapolis, IN included Community Movement Builders, Black Alliance for Peace, Cooperation Jackson, Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, National Black Liberation Movement, and Black Men Build.

This conference is explicitly independent from both parties of the American duopoly, Republican and Democrat. At this conference, we will help organizers further establish the skills to build a base beyond the duopoly. We sharpen our methods of strategy, hone our communication skills, refine our ethics, strengthen our analysis, identify our needs, and bring new people along with us. We dive into sessions on organizing tactics, community care, actionable strategies and campaigns that organizers are actively engaged in building.
